So do y’all feel like a quickie this morning? I am just so dang glad it’s Friday! Even though I have a weekend full of cleaning, I am still glad it’s Friday.
Ranch Chicken Cheese Ball
8oz brick of cream cheese, room temperature
1 can of white meat chicken, drained
1 Hidden Valley Ranch Pack
Crushed Pecans to coat
Couple drops of Texas Pete
Using your hands mix together the cream cheese, chicken, hot sauce and ranch pack. Form into a ball, and then roll in chopped pecans. Wrap up very tight in plastic wrap, and chill until ready to serve.
This cheese ball is a crowd pleaser. I am pretty much convinced that adding a ranch pack makes everything delish! You can serve this with crackers or veggies.
It seems that ranch dressing is a staple in the south. When I was a freshman in college, the food was less than desirable in the cafeteria. We would take the ranch dressing from the salad bar and put it on everything. Ranch dressing on pizza isn’t half bad, but ranch on rice was not one of my favorites. My younger sister is obsessed with ranch dressing. I think she would drink it if she could get away with it!
